The Island Diligence, seen under a dramatic rainbow, embodies the resilience needed in North Sea conditions. Built for efficiency and safety, this vessel is often deployed in offshore wind campaigns, providing accommodation and logistics support close to the turbines.
In contrast, the Norside Cygnus appears under a burning sunset sky, its decks lit against the shifting light of evening. As a versatile service operation vessel (SOV), it supports technicians, cargo handling, and walk-to-work transfers—making it indispensable in daily offshore work.
Both vessels highlight the evolving capabilities of offshore fleets as renewable energy continues to expand. From supporting heavy logistics to ensuring crew comfort during long campaigns, these ships are a reminder that the offshore wind industry is as much about the vessels as it is about the turbines towering above the waves.
