Good morning,
Here are some images taken from an evening camp up Loughrigg Fell.
Loughrigg Fell is a hill in the central part of the English Lake District. It stands (Elevation 335m) on the end of the long ridge coming down from High Raise over Silver How towards Ambleside, and is separated from its neighbours by the depression of Red Bank.
Have you ever solo camped? I would love to see your photo.

Hello,
I hope that you have had a good week.
Today i wanted to share a quick comparison.
The above images were taken litteraly two weeks apart. On both occasions i was very lucky on the weather front.
If you have not yet been, i strongly recommend a trip up Helm Crag in the Lake district.
Out of all the hikes there, this is regarded as one of the easiest.
Even with all your camera and camping kit.
Hope that you have a good weekend.

A quick post on why you should be picking up that hobby you have been putting off.
Having a hobby is a great way to unwind from the stresses of the workplace. Research shows that people with hobbies are less likely to suffer from stress and depression. Activities that get you out can make you feel happier and more relaxed. For me my hobby is wild camping. I enjoy the planning, problem solving, the aloneness, the waiting / hoping that the weather will cooperate. Helps me to think and hit the reset button on the stresses of the workplace.
Pick up that hobby you have been putting off.

Hi, i thought id share the images that i used to create the image bellow.
The top left image was me putting my idea down as a drawing.
The Helvellyn page was created in photoshop with taking some information from Wiki.
Also i used a wood effect background which was warped and pulled about to make it fit into the scene.
Nikon D800 f8 1.5seconds ISO100 with various flash bursts around the scene.
Last week i headed out to try and take some pics up Helvellyn in the lakes. I was losing light as i didn't plan on the amount of weight i carried would slow me down so much, and so i pitched up here rather then planned for the evening.
I awoke at 3am and the place was covered in snow. At first light there was an absolute white out, and was very thankful for carrying a GPS with me as navigating would of been near on impossible in zero visibility.
So photo wise it was a failure but a good heavy load carry is a well received for a bit of Phys after the indulgent new year.
